I was curious, so I compared the timings after the final hits at both 49:34 and 51:51. KZbin's single-frame progression might not be perfect, though it does seem to count 60 frame-skips per second. I started counting frames once the eyes stopped moving down. On the 1st kill-screen, Mario landed on the eye sprite and died after 93 frames had elapsed. On the 2nd kill-screen, the eye sprites stopped moving after 95(!) frames, and disappeared (at which point the key & keyhole spawned) after 138 frames. So, while it is more likely that he inadvertently jumped the gun by 45 frames (~0.75s), it's entirely possible that Barb's timing was too early by only TWO FRAMES! Unlucky! XD

I'm not sure if it's just your skill, but in addition to this hack's quality it seems approachable to folks on the kaizo beginner level. The setups were generally intuitive and none seemed to be excessively long.

Sometimes life just doesn't want you to have fun and then a little while later it lets you have all the fun and we have the bizarre luxury that we can just relive a lot of things we missed. I love it! So anyway, here's a weird brain thing: 4:25 The turtly chaps are going around the trees, but not all of them, so my brain goes: _yep, that's not right, it does weird shit, just look at it!_ I am looking and I consciously think, yeah, they're only going around several trees and not the same ones. So, you'd think that the rest of the brain understands that and fixes what it sees. Well, it just continued to go: _GREEN THINGS NO APPEAR IN CORRECT SPOT!_ I'm like, duuuude, are we the same brain even? XD WTH? XD Focus, duuude! Which trees are they going around? _GREEN THINGS DISAPPEAR AND APPEAR IN TREE._ Can you focus for just ONE gosh darn second and spot which trees and concentrate on separating the two different paths so it makes sense what you're seeing? _ONE PATH! MULTIDIMENSIONAL!_ Hopeless XD So I paused the video and my brain was like: _ez, two turtly chaps going around three trees each, one goes around the first 3 of 5 trees and the other around the last 3 of the 5 trees._ From a still image, really? Fucking liar! XD You sure you didn't already see that while I even pieced that together consciously while the rest of my brain was still making a glitchy mess of things? Hm? _No, no, no, I had it right the whole time, we're the same brain._ Bullshit! XD So anyway, moral of the story: you can actually know what you're looking at and still not be able to see it. Like many optical illusions. In this case I'm guessing that the fact that all trees were against each other and there was no space for the koopas to go in between and them having two different paths made it really weird for my brain to process what I was seeing, even though I consciously knew what was going on.

uhh dode is basically expelled from the community. He made extremely hateful comics towards the trans community. It started off as a small thing, but continued to get worse as he handled the situation poorly. He then did a "come back apology" where he doubled down on his comments.
