I am a student, and watching your videos seems to be a nice way of relaxing. I even started to airbrushing because of you. I bought the Gaahleri GT06 compressor kit and it has been an amazing starting kit. Thanks a lot for your videos, I look forward to watch more of them through the year. Congrats for the 6 years and wish you well, never stop doing what you love!

6 years way to go Robert, quite a few accomplishments crammed into six years. Thank you for the effort. You helped me decide what to do about finding another line of paint besides Tamiya. I was a dedicated Model Master painter. And finding out about Gaalheria Air Brushes was a game changer for me as well. Looking forward to 2025 with you.

Thanks for this review. I'm always looking for rattle cans to do primer and/or rust coat to do hairspray chipping on top of since it's thick and sturdy from a can. The krylon colormaxx work well. Thin, light coats that don't fill in panel lines. Nice matte finish. Also, for chrome or any metallic, the Design Master modern metals are awesome. It's meant for painting flowers. So it's thin, thorough and shiny

Looked like the splotchyness was probably from the nozzle. Besides the issue with the orange, I noticed even the white was spitting all over your desk surface inconsistently, so I bet they would turn out better if they were decanted for an airbrush or spray gun. I'm curious on how they would perform on EVA foam. Having a flexible spray paint would be really handy for cosplayers since most spray paints crack and/or wrinkle like crazy with just a little flex. Happy 6th anniversary.

I love your testing videos. Great work, very informative and useful to the everyday hobbyist. I have a question, what material do you use for your work top under your cutting mat? Appears to be a black satin colored vinyl perhaps…?

It's black poster sheets sheets from Walmart

Both Behr and Glidden for some reason decided to make spray paints. They should stick to making wall paint and let Krylon and Rustoloeum do the sprays! I used to wark at Depot, and know how inconsistent these paints can be!

As a senior, I'm getting into hobbies that don't require me to be outside during winter. I built my compressor/ tank package. My air brush is nice but I've noticed that you are now using an air brush with a pull trigger lever instead of the average finger pull lever. Do you prefer one over the other?
@666morello14 күн бұрын
congrats
@alcosteam14 күн бұрын
I realize it sort of defeats the convenience of being able to grab a can and spray but I dislike spray cans so much for models I will decant paint from the can into a bottle and use the air brush. Maybe you could give that a try just to compare how it applies.
@JohnBrown-fs4ug14 күн бұрын
Could you tell me what you’re using for the floor of your paint booth? I know you’ve said before, but for the life of me I can’t remember. Looked in the description and links before asking. This being my 1st commercial booth, I’d like to try to keep it clean as possible so it’ll last. Thanks in advance for your reply!

How do store your spray cans? I have some in the house that I use a lot. The others are in my unheated work shop where I go to spray my models. Some of them don't survive the winter

Just a quick reminder for anyone who is like me and not to bright cause I was shaking my bottle of Nocturnal Purple and U hold it by the cap and I just go back and forth while dealing with Wife agro. Well the bottle fell off the cap and I lost half of it to her Blanket. She is safe and me and the blanket took a bath in the paint. I should have enough for my 2 projects but just remember to make sure your bottles are tightened. I thought for sure my bottle was tight but I guess we had a difference of an opinion.

@barbatosrex947314 күн бұрын
Yeah, isopropyl alcohol is a great thinner for Tamiya Acrylics.
@Baleandor13 күн бұрын
This is off topic, but I've been having trouble with getting a good mirror effect with Ammo by mig Alclade II metal chrome. I'm spraying it over Tamiya gloss black with the H&S Infinity 2024 (that's a .4 needle) using this tiny Gohelper air compressor. I keep the airbrush on the base setting so that it doesn't spray too much and the compressor is on the lowest of the 3 settings but the best I've gotten is a hazy mirror finish, but most of the time it's just a really bright silver. Could the fact that I'm trying to chrome out organic Warhammer models make it an impossible mission? I'd greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks!
@barbatosrex947313 күн бұрын
Light misting coats should do it. I find Alclad is one of the easiest to spray. Is each layer dull and not shiny?
@Baleandor12 күн бұрын
@@barbatosrex9473 Yes, each layer is dull. I did like 3-4 coats and the final result is just a shiny silver. I know Alclad is easy and it's why I picked it, so there must be something going wrong in the piloting part.

@Barbatos Rex I found this on KZbin tonight and thought it was a brilliant wat to de-cant spray paint. It's basically a copper line tap for a refrigerator water supply that you can use to drain cans of paint. I thought I'd share...kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaGlkqZqa652psk
