Cracking video … haven’t barbel fished in years but watching this has gave me the bug again …. Our Yorkshire rivers are the best. ,.. not easy by any means but our northern barbel definitely are well worth the wait !! Well done 👍🏽 🎣😀

Thanks, we did have cameras on some rigs bit all the bites happened on other rigs with no cameras at certain times of the day, sods law really.

Excellent stuff. I wonder if putting a stone in a PVA bag so your bait is hidden under it would be and advantage, as they do seem to like poking their noses under them.

It probably is but the fish are unlikely to ingest very much. I'd be more worried about it contaminating the bait's smell and taste

Pva bags only work in slow moving water in a faster flow the first part to melt is were the hook goes through the mesh and then the whole bag is off down the river and breaks up down stream best way is put the lead in the bag it stops the bag rolling off I've watched this on barbel days and ways
