She is a beautiful doll....but let's be honest.... they gave her a Michael Jackson Bad tour outfit ( silver jacket and pants with white stipe) and a 90s mom weekend outfit. The Instagram voters did this curvy girl wrong. LOVE the new heel mold though...

Oh wow, I didn't realize taking the hands off was even an option. I usually wrap mine with Scotch tape when putting on tight sleeves. Definitely agree that the sleeves are a huge pain.

Thanks so much for doing a skin tone comparison. I was thinking about getting this doll because her skin tone looked much darker in the promotion pics, but I'll give this a pass since it's pretty much the same color as the curvy dancer and quite expensive XD. The hands of MTM dolls can be removed safely if first submerged into hot water for a minute or so. Actually, the arms, legs and feet can all be removed that way. ps there's another MTM curvy body with a different skin tone. The inspiring woman Samantha doll has a curvy body with a skin tone similar to the purple top blonde mtm doll from the most recent wave of mtm. The doll's kneecaps are of a slightly darker color than the rest of its body though.

I didn’t know about the Samantha doll, because most of the inspiring women series has used the superhero style without the lateral articulation on the arms and legs, but is she a different shade than the honey brown curvy girl? She’s pretty light

@@disneydprince She's of a different skin tone that is darker than the honey blonde but lighter and pinker than the auburn haired mtm.

oh man i was screaming at the screen i dont think their hands are made to be removed. They need to STOP with the sew in glasses. I have her and i think considering that new mattel creations fashion pack that came in at 55 dollars - pricepoint is in line.

Yeah the hands can be removed but aren’t really designed to be removed which is why I always use say as I do it in a video if you want to do it be prepared to break them

Thanks for the review. I am not in love with her, but something about her always catches my eye when I see her (especially the pics with her in those mule pump). I will think about it, I just bought a new vehicle, so I have to be more selective and frugal.

Did you just use regular pliers?

Yeah I just use regular needle nose pliers, but if you are worried about breaking things, you can always just stick the broken hand or foot peg into very hot water which will soften everything up and make it much easier to remove

Nice separates Yes, trying to get a jacket sleeve over a blouse or sweater sleeve can be difficult I usually just put a sleeveless shell This doll is a lovely brunette I didn't get a good look at her feet Can she wear high heels DDP?

Yes she has articulated ankles so she can wear heels or flats, which is the main reason I love made to move bodies

Yeah she’s pretty close if not identical i haven’t gotten a break dancer to fully compare but she matches fashionistas I would assume match breakdancer

I think this doll’s face is incredibly boring. It’s growing on me but it’s just so underwhelming. Barbie has so many beautiful faces…I’m just surprised by this face. It looks like the purple top yoga barbie face so not sure why they say its “new.” As far as her fashion being dated…that seems to be what is “in” right now. For some reason kids decided to bring 80’s and 90’s styles back - mom jeans, middle parts, crop tops, tie dye… It seems we’re in the lather, rinse, repeat era of fashion. Dont get me wrong…she’s cute…but not $100 cute.
