I just ordered the blonde barbie through Canadian Tire for $15 and was curious about how she looked out of her wheelchair. I'm so glad I found your video. Those orange shoes are gorgeous and I love the curly hair. She's going to be my first mtm doll and I'm excited for the poses she can make.

These are beautiful Barbies, love the fruit belt/bag and those orange shoes. Agree they should have made different dolls for the wheelchairs as Barbie isn't in a wheelchair. The outfits look cool also and works well on Slate. I got my first made to move Barbie in a wheelchair the other day, she is from the series before these. The ankle articulation is handy but looks like it could break if you were to rough with them. 😍💖💪

I really like the red wheelchair honestly. I feel the diversity in the dolls is token and very basic though. The prosthetic leg Barbie was more diverse because it was a Latina doll and not just another African American or Blonde option. I noticed that when many companies do disability dolls, the racial diversity feels token. Examples: The My Life as an Autism Advocate dolls only have the basic blond hair with blue eyes and African American with brown eyes options. Their prosthetic leg doll is blonde hair with blue eyes. The Our Generation prosthetic leg dolls only come in African American with brown eyes or blonde hair with blue eyes. The Barbie wheelchair dolls only come in African American with brown eyes or blonde hair with blue eyes. These major companies rarely use any phenotypes beyond the basic ones (no Latinas, redheads, Asians, etc.), and it makes the lines feel so tokenized on racial diversity. If somebody did a more racially diverse line of disabled dolls that included redheads I would be happy. But so far, only the basic phenotypes get covered in these types of lines.

I laughed to see a "Rainbow High Cheer" Doll commercial before you showcase these Mattel dolls on handicapped theme wheel chairs. 🤣😂 KZbin really wants your doll collectors into another doll toy also! I'm looking for better head molds but glad to see more M2M or articulation bodied Barbies (Barbie Xtras included) at Target stores now. Skin tone and good head molds are what I'm shopping for. It seems like all the Barbie heads I already have in Fashionistas and past 2016-2019 Barbies
