She looks so cute with her hair down. About the shedding, I had the same issue with her predecessor from series 1 and a little bit with this Elle too. Those hair pieces were already loose to begin with. I think it has to do with the way afros/very curly doll hair is being cut during production. The loosely cut pieces get stuck in the curls and they will eventually fall out. It's nothing to be worried about. It's completely normal and it will eventually stop.

Did you wash with only soap and water, and not boil wash? I’ve been looking at Elle molds with natural looking, textured hair. With her ponytail, I’d like to get the texture restored to the root, but don’t want to damage or relax the texture on the ends. You seem to have worked out her Afro perfectly, especially in the first look!

I washed her hair with shampoo and conditioner only with lukewarm water. I did not use hot water because it will make the hair straight. After washing the hair, I used a comb to fluff up the hair. After that, I did not comb it so as not to make knots in the hair.

Aww thank you so much, this really means the world to me.🥹🙏🏻❤❤❤ I only washed her hair once and I did not use hot water because it might ruin the style of her hair, so I used cold water and styled it when the hair was wet. This makes the styling process easier. Good luck to you.
