I miss the worldview I had as a kid. When these movies taught me that being kind and brave were most important. Back before I even knew what sex was and thought romance was all about appreciating someone’s character, dancing together, protecting each other etc. Now I know how superfluous people can be, and how many people value me as a person based on my outward appearance.

I didn't watch these because we were too poor to buy these. I don't know if our neighbors or family members even had these... I did get to watch a little bit of one movie that came on Nickelodeon sometime in 2003 or 2004, but looking back, it seems like it was Diamond Castle and that came out in 2007 or 2008, so I could be wrong lmao. Anyway, my point is that these are well made and I feel at peace listening to these. I'm going to watch these movies whenever I can. I'm a Barbie girl at heart and it's sad that I never watched these.
