I am absolutely obsessed with the Hollywood Hair Teresa..I actually have 23 of them! No joke. IMO, the most gorgeous Teresa face mold ever. Her honey blonde hair and tanned skin are beautiful, and her orange/gold outfit compliment those features. I wish I could show u photos of my dolls 💜. I also have the Camp Teresa doll as well..her and the Hollywood Hair Teresa have similar face molds!

Not sure if someone has said it already Hollywood hair dolls hair has been treated especially for stars to appear when you spray it on. It's not just a spray. I was cutting up the Delux playset Barbie box (I know! But the box was very squashed and I make scrap book out of boxes) and at the side it said "avoid wetting hair or treating it as it has been specifically treated for stars to appear" so that is my understanding why the hair feels slightly different from other 90's girls.❤

You are right..all of the Hollywood hair dolls have the saran type hair. I do like the kanekalon type hair (Totally Hair Barbie has that type of hair) better..more softer and realistic feel and look to real hair. Thank u for sharing your beautiful Teresa's to us! 😍

I had this doll as a kid! Like I remember getting her from a thrift shop and my grandmother bought Barbie brand new, but I have no idea what happened to them. Amazing as usual!! I’d like to get Teresa and Barbie. I just found Skipper, unfortunately she lost a bunch of hair during the cleaning. Her hair was making a velcro sound as I was combing it to try and detangle. Even after I used a ton of detangling spray. Maybe I shouldn’t have done it with her hair wet ? She still has hair though but I’m sad she lost so much hair .

Hollywood Hair dolls had a coating washed into the hair, so I'm assuming that the rougher hair texture was a mixture of the chemicals used to make the spray show and the fiber change to hold the chemical wash longer during play but can still be washed out.

Hello from Germany! First of all, thank you for creating this channel. 💞 I especially love the Barbie dolls from the early 90s to mid 90s. As I got older, I hardly played with them anymore, but they are still a part of me. As I said, 90s Barbie dolls are unique. I recently bought Hollywoodhair Teresa. She is now really very rare. Whatever the reason, unfortunately I didn't have her as a child. So now about 30 years later a little dream came true. 💝 I got my doll packed, so brand new. The hair in the lower third is thicker and therefore more difficult to comb. What can I do to get this part just as soft?

Her hair was in good shape! I have 4 Totally Hair Barbies whose hair was so knotted it took 45 minutes to comb each one out. I had to do it in 15 minute increments so i didnt sprain my wrist!

@@Barbination yeah often thrift store dolls hair is just a big ball of fiber, but it's possible to bring it back to almost like new if you work at it. I soak the doll's head in diluted fabric softener, overnight if necessary, when it's really bad, before I touch it with the brush.
