So glad it’s not just me who’s stressed out by the lack of pattern matching on the Metro/zip pouch. Especially annoying since they’ve proved they can pattern match on the inside of the city bag! I love the City bag and holdall but I’m not sure they’re going to replace my S and T bags - it doesn’t seem like the closures are anywhere near as quick and easy to access.

Just got my metro tartan zip bag😀. The orange strips go perfectly well with my orange handlebars 😁 and thank you for your videos on how to fix the metro pouch😂.

I only put my metro bag on the handlebars so I can make sure I see it if it falls off. Those really small interior pockets on the metro bag is for, a METRO card.

Hi H we have this small adapter for the zip pouch. so we can mount it to the front bag block instead on the handlebar or the seatpost.... these bags isnt cheapppppp!!!!!

Unfortunately, another KZbinr has already revealed that the bags which came with his bike had been outsourced to China. Now I really had no intention of buying the Barbor bags in the first place, but I could well imagine a person thinking they were getting the best the UK had to offer, then finding the “made in China “ tags.

Great video. I’m a great fan of Barbour jackets and theses bags look interesting but I’m wondering why Brompton didn’t team up with Billingham Bags, an other brilliant British Manufacturer, who specialise in waterproof bags. I’m a great fan of their bags - I have nine. Meanwhile I did buy the little Barbour zip bag, which is handy except for the little pocket inside which is even too small for a credit card. I think the tartan is from the Brompty clan.

Up date on my previous comment. This 'zip pouch' tartan goes perfectly with my Black Lacquer Brompton - tones in very well. I used it today on my handle bars for the first time - wooooops - the velcro came undone. Lucky it was only one side so didn't fall off. The velcro needs to be wider and stronger - just saying!

Many thanks both of you for watching! It took us a while to fit it correctly to the handle bars. Basically you need to undo the Velcro, remove from the little loop, pass round the handle bars, through the loop and then back onto the Velcro. It then stays attached well!

Oh a very good question! If I was taking a laptop I’d take the waterproof bag as it has a laptop sleeve. If just clothes probably the Brompton bag

Yes, the electric line is sadly neglected as far as bags are concerned. I've got the small battery bag which I find too small. Might have a play around with my basket bag and see if I can come up with some sort of " Frankenbag "

I do wish Brompton would do a slightly larger battery bag with enough room for a sandwich, spare tire, jacket, and maybe an iPad. These city bags are nice but too big.

I am very disappointed that the tartan on the flap is not made to match with the rest of the bag. That is a sign of cheap manufacturing and really not worthy of the name Barbour. Come on Barbour, you are better then this.

I suspect that tartan on the outside was not the original intention and the (Chinese?) sub contractor used the lining material as the outside.
