I love how articulate she is, and how she speaks her mind. I wish I could express myself well with speaking. She's just the best. She inspires me to bring out the best in me and to believe in myself. I'm 27 and i lover her so much.

I grew up hearing Barbra's voice and to this day I still listen to her. She has a unique gift of making the day ahead of you better just hearing her music. I also respect the strong woman that she has become.

Fantastic. I totally dig how she speaks. So articulate and inspiring.

Who is my favorite female singer and actress of all time? Why, Barbra Streisand. Of course. Who else? Barbra, I am so glad you never had your nose “fixed.” I think it is one of your prettiest physical features. I love the way she listens when someone else speaks. I wish, politically, people would take to heart what she said about she doesn’t understand the point of people trying to tear her down.

She has this cute way of saying 'you know?' to make a point either in the middle or the end of a sentence, very Judy Maxwell. She did it mainly in the 70's interviews.

I saw this movie in '76...I was 17 and knew nothing of Streisand, I knew the name, but knew nothing of her singing....then she sang 'woman in the moon'...it blew me away...I was completely hooked....until I heard Whitney Houston.......
@songbirdy6 жыл бұрын
At least Barbra is still with us sharing her talent with the world. Whitney, more than any other singer, really pissed me off for not taking better care of herself and her talent, and in the end checking out on us. Because yes, Whitney was that good to invoke such anger in me.

Barbra Streisand is so unique! I have this television interview on an 8track cassette, without video. Does anyone out there have the full interview with video?? I have searched for it for many years. Please share if you have the full interview on video.

@srobindittrich65995 жыл бұрын
Oh now...let's not be catty about Lady GaGa. She is fabulous too. Let's not forget that Ms Streisand, when asked what she thought about Lady GaGa, or Stephanie, said, "She's the real deal. A true talent."
@rr7firefly7 жыл бұрын
The awkward phase of Streisand's career. Contrast with brilliant 1960s performances and with mega-concerts from Dec. 1993 - Jul. 1994 (Barbra Streisand in Concert) and from Oct, 2006 - Jul. 2007 (Streisand).

Barbra e Kris ever! ❤️💗😍!!!

She was FORCED to write music? By whom?
@paulleonidou3 жыл бұрын
She’s said it other interviews that she wrote music out of necessity. What does necessity mean? I can only assume, like, the budget was tighter so she took that on? Especially if she was producing the movie.
@bl67973 жыл бұрын
The film company wouldn’t give her the money to make the film unless she wrote some music.

I wish Elvis would have been the male part
@Chloe-j3o2 ай бұрын
Elvis received a project which was supposed to be directed by John Peters, very far from the succesful movie in which Kris Kristofferson was already involved, even before Barbra. Elvis was smart enough to notice it : he never regretted to have missed that project. I regret that this event is now used to pretend that Elvis would not have made very smart decisions.
@Chloe-j3o2 ай бұрын
I'd rather wish that Elvis could have had enough time to have another opportunity to make a movie with Barbra

Why compare? Judy passed her torch to Barbra in her fabulous TV shows. Episode 9 with Barbra is a stand out. Both Judy and Barbra were excellent and a joy to watch. They both loved and cared for each other.

@srobindittrich65995 жыл бұрын
@Christine Mills - And all of these names you mentioned, with the exception of John Denver, died of substance abuse. Barbra maintains a healthy respect for her God given instrument. Result: At 76, she sounds and looks fabulous.

I didn’t like Judy’s portrayal because she played the character as a weak pushover.
