A great tribute, but I hate when people see women paying tribute to other women and then pit them against each other , like who sings better , these two women Barbra and Donna had respect for each other and always talked well of each other. Donna Summers voice is very distinctive. Ever heard anyone sing I Feel Love or Macarthur Park like her? I haven't. She did Macarthur Park Suite in one take! There's a reason she dominated the latter end of the '70s.

Hearing Donna's voice and I get shivers. And I've been a Barbra fan since I was 10 (I'm 45 now). The same with Barbra and Chaka, Whitney and even Lady Gaga when she's doing the classics. And Jennifer Holliday, with the right song, moves me every time. When I saw this and Beyonce came out and did one of Streisand's classics (The Way We Were -- I had to look it up because I forgot), I just felt nothing. Even though Beyonce has a beautiful singing voice, I don't get the same impact that I get from others. I don't know why that is?

Why do you think Barbara teamed up with Donna to sing on a record in the first place. At the time around the world Donna Summer was way more popular than Barbra Streisand. You could not turn a radio on without hearing a Donna Summer song. Why do think, the picture of her album cover had her sitting on a radio , because her records dominated the radio back then.
