I absolutely love this Resort. We Stayed there 5 years ago and were planning to go back 2 years ago but covid hit. The Service was great and the people were great. I'm gonna wait another year till things get back to normal.

@Tam My hello. Yes everything appeared to be open. I know the theater was for certain. We only ate at the Buffets and we all felt the food was pretty good. Lot's of choices so you can always find something you like. My 1st time at an all inclusive so I have nothing to compare it to but I was certainly happy.

Not really, it's more a family hotel. There are no parties hotels here, you might try Riu, Breathless, they are better regarding entertainment, but not expect too much

@@Katizhitaz TREMENDO!!! nos tocó una habitación con dos recámaras, la principal con una cama enorme y la otra con dos camas para mis niñas, el hotel es inmenso y cada 15min pasa un tren que te lleva al lobby de Barceló Palace, Barceló Beach y Barceló Centro de convención, son tres hoteles gigantes en una sola instalación, estábamos bien cerca de las piscinas temáticas para niños, y cerca del bar con bebidas premium, reservamos dos restaurantes y el mejor fue “Hoyo 19” es el más destacado de todos! La pasa manos de maravillas. Observación, no teníamos room service incluido pues no estaba en el precio de oferta que pagamos, la comida del Buffete muy buena y con gran variedad, hasta chicharrón de cerdo 🙆🏻‍♂️🤣 también disfrutamos de jacuzzi en el balcón de la habitación y la vista preciosa de los dos balcones. LA PASAMOS DE MARAVILLAS!!!

Olvidé agregar que los horarios de los buffet son extendidos, desayuno hasta las 12pm, almuerzo hasta las 5:45pm y la cena hasta las 10:45pm, yo de hartón cené en el restaurante con mi familia a las 7pm y luego a las 10pm cené en el Buffete, el sport club incluido tenía pantalla gigante con asientos reclinables donde pude ver el juego final de las águilas cibaeñas, te digo es el 5to resort de este 2021 y lo catalogó como el mejor de esos que visité

They're not worsted resort , Barcelo is number one resort in Mexico good food, excellent service, and big pool, clean a lot active etc ... come and find out yourself and don't read bad comments and bad mouth on this resort. People's so negative things for everything, come and seeing yourself and believing. Tried to stay Barcelo resort beautiful and clean and staff are very friendly etc.

I've been to Barcelona Cancun and it's a small hotel, normal but not the best certainly. I think all the resort have their good and bad points. The beach if Barcelo here is the best. But the good became worse than before

I am currently at the hotel for the next 5 days got here 5 days ago the food is awful I had gone in to this experience with a lower expectations for the food not only did it fall short but it was worse. I do not recommend this place. The guest service is ok… the beach and the pool are ok. Final note, many aspects are not all inclusive so be prepared to not pay or heavily overpay there is no in between

Spent some time in early July 2021: No poolside service, Lines at Buffett, No theme dinner nights at Buffett (eg. Mexican, Asian, Etc), No nightly entertainment show, and Kids Club closed. To get drinks at the pool, you must go to the bar and you must wear a mask to order drinks. No mask, no service. Lunch buffet: Pasta station, pizza, hamburger, fries, salad, fruit, rice, beans, and other local dishes. Dinner buffet, Pasta station, pizza, salad station, hamburger, fries, salad, fruit, rice beans, dessert, grilled fish, pork, chicken thigh and steak, as well as other local dishes.
