Barcelona Behind The Scenes Throwback - #84

Hi everyone!
If you've been following my Instagram you'll have seen I've struggled to find the time to get out and make a riding vlog recently due to bad weather and "work" commitments.
Mark Westlake pointed out that it's been three years since we were filming in Barcelona for Drop And Roll and he suggested a retrospect behind the scenes style video could work well so that's exactly what I've done.
I do hope you find this interesting! If so please let me know and I can do the same for some of my other videos.

I love all of the front wheel work, especially the nose wheelie around the bench with a 360 and then down the ramp with a 180.

Interesting to get an insight into how the video was made. Did you have the song picked out before you headed to Barcelona or was it chosen after everything was filmed? It was cool to bump into you the other night and good luck with the show tomorrow! The set looks awesome!

I used to love the look of the shimano 6 spoke 203mm rotors on your arcade, why were you running one on the front but a totally different rotor on the back? This has always been a favorite video but I always wondered about that mis matched rotor.

Nice! Reckon you should do this with some of your other videos too! How come in the clip where you were padding up your hand there were no logos on the rims? Is it marks bike or did something break?

I really enjoyed this definitely do more of these! I always wondered what the hippie hop was called and now I know it really is one of the coolest tricks out there. Shout out to Mark for that massive beard! (and the idea and filming it too) I'll be giving that dreams by Ott Pi a look too and oh I love Akrigg although I haven't been able to find the video with him riding that curved bank it would be cool to check that out.

Hi ali, i have a question that virtually has nothing to do with this video. But do you know how to overcome the judgement of other people over your training when you start doing tricks and fail because of, well in my head i understand the science of yhe trick but my body has got to get some experience. Im trying to find locations with no people to distract me. But they are as you probably know, very rare. I recently changed an old dirt jumper with some mt5 brakes and single speed drivetrain (32-20) and started learning tricks. I hate riding on wet muddy trails so needed a new challenge.

Ali Clarkson yes, thats probably the case. Its just that little distraction off the focus. The most important thing is to have fun though. Otherwise, at least I, wouldn't go on with bike sports. I've got the luck that during the day the parking lot under the apartment building is almost empty and can train on doing tricks. Not that impressive though. But when it works. That feeling is awesome

Hearing you talk about having such trouble with your hand and only worrying about getting clips is crazy! This video is one of my favorite trial videos ever so don’t be that harsh on yourself and mark. Any plans for filming another one in the near future? :)

I'm saving up for a new trials bike should I go for the new 26 inch hex or should I go for a 24 inch bike like a inspired flow four play and other 24 inch I do mtb at the moment with 27.5 wheels
