hansi flicks style of play burns put players way faster than peps. With flick you need to press for 90 minutes and manage a highline. These days small teams just sit in a low block and counter against pep for 90 minutes means much less work for the players

As a Madrid fan, I was so scared of Barca back in October, we thought this coach/team would dominate Europe because of the way you were cruising and playing through opponents BUT I'd say the mentality is not there, players barely takes accountability and sometimes players have to bail out their coach but it seems it's not happening with Barca( Atleti played sh*t football) but Lewandowski couldn't finish to save a life, Lewa needs to be pressured so he can put this team on his back because really Raph, Pedri and other guys worked really hard but Lewa couldn't do anything, he was just jumping without anything real to show for

Im still rooting for us to win the league because regardless of the setbacks we still play the best football in europe along with liverpool. We also have more home games in the second half of the season. Even Hansi flick is learning and showing signs of adaptation with la liga. The only concern is squad depth issues catching up for us.

id give this season a 8 so far ngl. If we consider what flick inherited in the summer, lack of signings, and injuries, flick has been overachieving. He transformed players like Raphina. He had an amazing laliga start and especially when lookin at the UCL results in this new tougher format. This team has so much protential. the season ain over, we just need quality depth (fullback, wingers, striker) and move from there 🤷🏿‍♂️

Our main problem is that we don’t shoot from outside enough. We should utilize the whole width of the squad but not to set up a cross. But to set up a powerful shoot from outside the box. This makes us way too predictable even though we still create the most chances. Adding that touch will make teams fear us much more and take a step back.

Lol welcome to the German heavy metal football style. Most of us Barca fans are used to German football managers but listen. My brother is a Liverpool fan I've watched the entire Klopp era. You guys are used to looking at the affects heavy metal football has on a team over a season I've watched it for years. Beginning of the season flying middle dropping points. It's draining for the players. It works with proper squad building which we don't have. They rely on rotating players. What's happening is what I expected to happen. Expect highs and lows it's A LOT of running the fatigue is killer.
