Barcelona - Milan - Singapore | Singapore Airlines A350 | Economy Class

Hi everyone. Today's I'm on Singapore Airlines' fifth freedom flight from Barcelon to Singapore via Milan (MXP). The journey took about 15 hours in total including the time on ground at Malpensa Airport. On the first leg of the flight, we were served a sandwich and some drinks. Flight time was about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Upon touching down at MXP, passengers who are travelling onwards to Singapore must remain onboard. We waited in the aircraft while it was being serviced. With the arrival of another set of crew and passengers onboard, we departed.
If you watch my previous videos about Singapore - Los Angeles and Seattle to Singapore, I mentioned the decline of the inflight service. On the flight from MXP-SIN, no hot towel was distributed as well. The meal tray literally had almost nothing except the main course and bun with crackers and cheese. Many have complained about the food. Food catered onboard are really delicious. I tried all the options. Great. Tasty. I hope they bring back the appetiser and fruit platter, or offer a small muffin or cake as dessert as well. Crew on my flights are fantastic. Especially from MXP-SIN, Leading Stewardess Miss Ong really worked so hard and remained gentle and graceful. From my observation I can tell that some crew are very new and working not even more than 6 months. Not only she has to serve the passengers, help in the galley, but also guide the new crew. Kudos to crew FSS Steffi too for being so friendly and attentive.

So much cost cutting - no more paper menus, no more hot towels, no more appetisers, no more fruits with the breakfast, meal portions smaller / lower quality.

Yup, quality of inflight meal hits to the bottom after pandemic, not deserve as 5 star airline.

Previously a bottle mouth wash and cologne are also provided in Economy class lavatory.
