This is very good bu, of course, she had to change it to make it look like she stopped it for an actual reason, so the tax for regular cars went down from $15 to $9, overnight prices are also down from $3.75 to $2.25, multi-unit trucks and sightseeing buses will pay $21.60, instead of $36 and smaller trucks (single-unit), pickup trucks and some types of vans $14.40 instead of $24. motorcycles will pay $4.50 during the day, yellow taxis $0.75 and "ride share, like Uber and Lyft $1.50. Car owners who earns less the $50,000 a year will get a 50% discount after from their 10th entry each month, car owners living inside the zone and earn less than $60,000 will get a tax rebate for any toll they've paid and there are other discounts for those who pay a toll to cross the Lincoln or Holland tunnels into Manhattan ($3) or entering/exiting the area via the Queens-Midtown or Brooklyn-Battery tunnels during peak hours ($1.5 credit for private vehicles) and more They made it too complicated and allowed more to enter for less which will lower the effectiveness and the money collected for public transit improvements for nothing.

And as someone who lives in the congestion pricing zone, thank fuck for that.

@@kirkrotger9208 If you live in this area you most likely have a bit of money and also have plenty of options to move around without a car and, in the end, you'll enjoy far less traffic. That said, if you earn less than $60,000 a year you might be qualify for a tax credit in the amount of tolls paid (the exact details are not published yet but the congestion pricing only starts in January).

This week I was able to see that new tram line in Barcelona, I hope they build the tram on the whole Diagonal quickly, because now it is kinda weird that this connection is lacking

The 2bn extension in Geneva includes two double-track tunnels on either side to connect the new underground station to the airport on one side and to the main line towards the rest of Switzerland on the other, as well as the creation of two new accesses to the existing surface station and new passages overall to increase flow capacity. Works have already been going on for a few years, since in the spirit of CFF the disruption to existing traffic must be minimised, hence the long construction period and the high cost too. New tracks have been constructed in nearby Meyrin to increase parking capacity; a new maintenance shed has been built in Geneva, the old cleaning tunnel has been replaced; the yard in Geneva is being reconstructed to simplify its operation, and the largest electronic interlocking system in the country as well as new signalling has already been completed and will enter operation next week when the station will close for roughly 24h.

Budapest: New orders of CAF trams, of which the first one has arrived. In the next two years, many lines will get their first low-floor trams. The extension of lines is set to start soon. Extension of the Trolley Bus System. The plan is to double it by 2030 with self-driving buses. Having the M2 take over Suburban lines 8 and 9 has been green-lit, and the surveys and plans for connecting their terminus at Ors Vezer Ter have begun.

Yeah! New City for All video! The Barcelona tram is good, but the metro is really great and covers the city very well. The trams really are more of a complement to the metro.

Trams are better for people using strollers and those with wheelchairs. Underground means that it takes time for them to reach the platforms. Trams also stops much better than buses.

@@MichalBergseth-AmitopiaTV I'm well aware of the PRM issues, being one of them. But the reach and coverage of the metro is unparalleled and, if fully accessible everywhere, would be even greater. Trams are great in general, especially the modern French / European style ones with 100% low floor like those Alstom ones. But trams are not on par with metros on capacity and speed. There surely are extremely busy and long tramway lines, like Paris T3a & T3b, which regularly carry over 700k passengers a day, but they aren't fast, and the overcrowding is anything but comfortable... Most rush hour passengers of these sister lines would prefer a faster, higher capacity metro even if, in general, they prefer surface tramways. During peak rush hours, these lines sometimes crawl down to barely 15 kilometers per hour of average speed. Usually, they run between 16 and 18 kilometers per hour on average when there's a bit of traffic. That's why many passengers on the T3a (the Southern one) can't wait for the Southern section of M15 to open. It would be a detour for some of them, but will be much faster and less crowded. I guess trams are not slowed as much in Barcelona during rush hours, but I'm pretty sure most longer distance passengers are more eagerly awaiting the opening of the central section of metro L9-L10 rather than the central tram section connecting the two isolated halves of the tram network. Lines L9-L10 being fully accessible and running substantially faster, the passengers going, for example, from around Zona Universitaria to Badalona, would better use the metro than the tram. Less direct, but probably much faster, and with more capacity. I love trams, but the speed and capacity is far from ideal on longer and busier journeys.

One person has since succumbed to injuries, thus 15 people died and 2 persons are in critical health condition. One of them is a young woman, age of 23 who got both of her legs amputated and a part of a pelvis. She is married and has a baby. After this homicide 11 people resigned and Goran Vesić is arrested.
