9:57 No way that is offside. Now that goal by Alexia... even when I played back home in my native Spain I would NEVER understand why goalkeepers wandered so far out of their net. Yeah I understand they can get bored at times, but seriously, they should be aware that stuff like that can happen during games... it doesn't always come off, but when it does more than celebrating who scored I would blame the keeper. *PS: Now apart from that goal, I will never understand why Juventus got rid of Giuliani who saved their butts during many games as much as she did in this one... or else Barça could have scored at least 4-5 goals.

Instead of retreating faster to protect her empty net as soon as Milan lost possession she remained there until Alexa, given space and time, lobbed the ball into the empty net. Probably down to inexperience, she relied on her senses instead and he completely misjudged the flight of the ball.

In my opinion the women's Spanish National team was exposed at the Olympics. They can't defend against good counter attacks. And this is part of the reason, they have no competition in league play. They're always dominating, always on offense. And even when they do play another good team in the Champions League like Lyon, it's the same European style of "slow" buildup... I don't see women's European soccer the same after the Olympics. I think America's NWSL is probably higher level, with the exception of a few clubs like Barcelona but those clubs hardly ever face any competition.
