Arsenal's Invincibles go the entire season unbeaten to win their third Premier League title
The 2003/04 Premier League season went down in history as a landmark one for Arsenal, who went the entire league campaign undefeated, with 26 wins and 12 draws, as they won the title by an 11-point margin. Not since Preston North End's 22-match campaign in 1889 had that feat been emulated, and Arsene Wenger's free-flowing side were dubbed as 'The Invincibles'.
The way Arsenal won the title was far from straightforward, though, and the sense of anticipation and intrigue for the 2003/04 Premier League campaign heightened when Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich took over Chelsea in the summer. Established players such as Damien Duff and Joe Cole were joined by international stars such as Hernan Crespo and Claude Makelele as manager Claudio Ranieri strengthened his squad with several new recruits.

Today's Liverpool or Man City can't even come close to both Arsenal and Man United during this season

Well maybe not tra, shed over, but saying that they wouldnt come even close to them is also just to much. Both of the clubs had new pl records on points and goals scored. I agree arsenal that year and man u under ferguson where amazing. But think city last year and this years liverpool is better. But u never know for sure. The fotball has changed and so has premier league with all the money involved,

I am a Chelsea fan though so I love 09/10 Chelsea. They had Drogba, Anelka, Lampard, and many more iconic players

@Qwecy i wouldn't call them poor. They were decent, but not the best. But then again, only 6 teams have won more ucl trophies than them (RM, AC Milan, Liverpool, Barca, Bayern and Ajax) so that's not exactly considered poor.

@Qwecy how did fergie even spent a lot? In the 1990s he relied mostly on his youth academy (Beckham, Scholes, Giggs, Neville, etc.) and later on he did bought stars like Van Der Sar & RvP on a relatively cheap price. Although he did smash the transfer for superstars like Ferdinand, Rooney and Veron, he wasn't blatantly going out spending big money to form all 11 of his XI. If you think his spending was crazy and should dominate in Europe, I wonder what you think of teams like Real Madrid in the early 2000s and today's present day Man City and PSG who spent way more but couldn't even sniff a Champions League final place. At least Fergie lead Utd to 2/3 of Champions League glory in the club's history. Might not be as dominant as Milan or RM (if you have high expectations) but certainly good enough for most fans.
