I got my first personal Barclays card back in 2019 and was given a $1500 credit limit. After six months, I was given an increase to $1800 without asking for it. I never used that card besides once per year just to keep it open. Now, three months ago I decided to ask for a credit limit increase since I was stuck at $1800 and asked for $35k and they approved me.

I accidentally got into Barclays when they took over the gap accounts, so I have an old navy, athleta and banana republic mastercards, tried to get my wife an old navy card with a 750 score, 6 inquiries and only a year history with 12 cards and declined. Until my inquiries fall a little more, I might consider the Barnes and Noble and Carnival cruise mastercards both underwritten by Barclays.

The only card that I'll consider from Barclays is the Avaitor but Barclays and Citi are the only company to deny me in the last 2yrs. That includes me getting the Chase IHG Business at 13/24 and also getting a 6th and 7th Amex Credit card although the limit is 5 credit cards to go with my 5 Amex charge cards. Making me have 12 total Amex. But Barclays would not budge on that Denial.

Barcklay black card, easy to approve theyaa approve me with 620 last year 5.5k They are pushing that card probably cause of big fees, but if you credit is not perfect it is good card to get..
