WHY slam this ride? 'Why not?' said Jake, of Choctaw, Oklahoma. Jake has been slamming vehicles for years and took on the challenge of a 2020 Chevy Silverado. It took four months but the hard work paid off and the truck still does what it was intended to do: haul. All four corners of this ride are on a nine-inch airbag and there’s two five-gallon tanks on the truck that hold on-board air as well as four compressors pumping air into the tank. With three different pre-sets, this truck can go low, middle and all the way up. For Jake, it is an amazing ride. He said: “It runs down the highway and attracts attention everywhere it goes.”

Personally, I hate both the slammed look and the sky-high look, but at the same time I love the quality, hard work, and enthusiasm of the people who love those mods. That part is beautiful. Now excuse me while I install pulsing neon underlights from Need For Speed Underground, a Red Baron hood ornament from a 1960's model car, and a dashboard display written in Irken letters from the Invader Zim TV show. You know, the stuff that actually makes sense and looks good.

This totally reminds me, I remember this one time I was out with this nice girl and we had taken that old KemoSabe trail up to Horsheweitz pass to check out the air brigade defence machine setting up their advanced airwac sqwuack comptroller in the valley but I started to get some vibration in the motor mounts on my old beater hotrod on account of I had just cut on the Roots blower from a GreyHound bus to my aircooled helicopter Tucker engine in the back of car #52 off the line. MAN, it was abadass ride lifting the front wheels at least half track running 9's in the quarter cuz of all the weight transfer and my chick would ride in the back to help settle the torque steer on account she was a bigger gal and fit squarely in that chopped off tub behind the rails of the Tucker chassis where she could just hang on and straddle the plumbing tube roll cage bars. Luckily, no one was injured... except the day that gal broke my heart. */w\TMFR/w\*

Air ride to me isn't the most reliable. I'd do this to my truck in a heartbeat if I owned a shop were I could fix things as soon as they break. When you are just the buyer, things go wrong and you have wait months behind other people before you get your truck back.
