SINCE they last featured on Truly, the Drewitt-Barlows have welcomed a new addition to their extraordinary family. Romeo was born through surrogacy earlier this year. He is Barrie’s second child with his partner Scott and the couple also have daughter Valentina together. They live in an impressive property in Florida with Barrie’s ex-husband, Tony, their five kids Saffron, Aspen, Orlando, Jasper and Dallas and Tony’s new partner. As a newborn baby, Romeo’s wardrobe already contains designer items with Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger and Gucci clothes and shoes. The family gets criticism for their spending but Barrie pays no attention to it and still cannot believe the million-dollar lifestyle he leads. Barrie told Truly: “We’re extraordinary because we’ve changed boundaries and we’ve changed laws.”

I am VERY open minded, so I'm not bothered by the family dynamics. What DOES bother me is "picking out a boy embryo!" 😳 This is where the beauty of childbirth gets interfered with. U should not be able to "PICK" a boy or girl. That's just inane! They think their money excludes them of being responsible parents. They could be the best parents in the world, but picking your child is just sick IMO.

For him to imply that he needs to spend all his money on extravagant things because “what else” could he possibly do with it sounds so insensitive when there are people in this world literally starving to death. @@theembersinside1420 Yeah, it’s so tone deaf for people to publicly brag about their immense fortune when so many others live in absolutely poverty. This man has been given a platform where he could encourage others to make a difference by sharing how he uses his money to help people but he doesn’t, and my guess is that it’s likely because he doesn’t share his wealth. He has the ability to literally save lives but would rather have an abundance of designer goods. There’s times I feel sick to my stomach thinking how some people live without the basics but I’m only in a position to help a little, to occasionally give someone money or buy them a meal. If I had millions I’d be helping everyone I could! It seems to always be the most selfish people who have it all, those with very little will often give you the shirt off their back.

As a mother of 4 it pains me that I can’t provide my kids w a nice house, buy them something they really want, take them on a vocation or buy myself an SUV that would fit us all w/o the kids fighting bc we are crammed!!! Same here. We have one vehicle i had to work hard for and barely getting by. We have hardly any food right now either. While I usually don't watch these videos bc it tears me apart knowing what I can't do while I just WISH I had a tiny piece of their income, my kids are healthy and happy and I'm sure yours are, too. And the best thing? They love you! They will realize one day all you do for them and it makes it all worth it. Trust me.

My mom was unemployed for like a month and a half so we had to get help, but trust me, money cannot fix everything. I'm happy for this couple, but their children will pay the price for it. Our upbringing is what shapes us and changes us for the better. Nothing good comes from constant spending on materialistic stuff, and living a selfish life. Ironic he thanked Jesus, I wonder when was the last time he talked or fed a homeless guy. Nothing better than having healthy and happy kids, later they will realize how hard you worked and how you tried your best.

I think if you’re poor then don’t have kids, my mom became a single mother when I was 13 and we lived in emergency housing with my 3 younger siblings, then transitional housing and my mom got addicted to drugs and we ended up in foster care and it was awful being in the system was rough, there’s so many kids born into the world with druggy parents it sucks but I learned from my parents mistakes and won’t bring kids into dysfunctional situation

I’m a single mother not by choice, who happens to have a special need child, I work, pay taxes just like you. Just unfortunately things out of my control had happened while I had my son. I qualify for help with food stamps so I get them. Lot of the rules has changed and where I live u have to have employment ,SSI,SSDI, or u have to attend work force and u have a certain amount of time to find a job or u can be cut off. Due to the pandemic a lot of us had no choice to ask for help.
