The reason I click on any story you narrate is because your command of your voice and total absorption into each character makes any story come alive to me. The main reason I see a story you've written and immediately click on it is that I know I will get a delicious shiver down my back. Carry on, my friend. Ignore the riff raff and carry on.

The general rule is if you're narrating stories, your read all the characters. If i's a radio play, then actors read the lines. And none of those are etched in stone. You're doing a superb job. Some people are adding uncreative boundaries where there are none. You're no taking away anybody's job or rights. Carry on. We love them.

I love listening to your narration of ANY story. Ridiculous that someone would suggest you hire a female narrator! Some people spend way too much time looking for opportunities to be offended. And your American accent is pretty good; seems a lot of actors immediately fall into an exaggerated Texas accent when trying to sound American. Keep up the great work.

I started listening to audiobooks back in the late 70s or early 80s, and on cassette, when I started working on a lot of needlepoint, and I never cared whether the book was written by male or female, or whether the main character was male or female. All I cared about was whether the narrator was clear and easy to listen to. I think your narration style is very good and one I could listen to for hours, and have done while listening to your audiobooks. I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the comments like what you were mentioning as I imagine most of your followers feel as I do. Great narrators can read any story. You are a great narrator. I can't thank you enough. There are Audible Books which would be much improved by your voice. Thank you from your newest subscriber.

Hello Tony, I loved the story and your American accent was spot on! 👌 Take no notice of the complainers. They are just envious of your writing and narrating ablity. I don't understand why anyone would think this story should be read by a woman. It makes no sense to me. It was lovely to see your face, so the next time I listen to you narrating a story, I can put a face to the voice! ❤

thank you very much, Kay. I’m five years into this now and I now realise that it is inevitable that you can’t please everybody so you just need to go on doing what you need to do
