Whoever killed Jason, was most likely law enforcement. I would believe that 2 people would have been involved. Communicating and verifying that it was a police cruiser about to get off on that exit with whomever put branches in the road. Those branches where placed last minute. Traffic is light on BGP anytime of day so at 3am it would have probably been likely for the person or persons involved in Jasons death would have that in mind. The vehicle getting off on that exit had to be verified of who it most likely was. A civilian could have hit the trap..unlikely with it being 3am ish. But still the plan would have been ruined if that happen. It would be more likely that 2 people would be involved to increase success. 1 person may have pulled it off with maybe binoculars standing at the first point of clearance maybe close to the beginning of the exit then running to the ambush point once verified. Who ever was involved knew when his shift ended. Knew when he went off duty for the night on the radio. And knew his route home. So this person knew Jason. Whats the motiv? Who knows...also a police officer....would also have more confidence in the average person when doing somthing like this, possible military background. Just a thought. Wouldn't hurt to see lie detector results on the matter from the Houck bros.

I really don't understand why this case hasn't been solved already. It's a heartbreaking thing to happen to a family and all because a decent,honest officer was getting too close to evil. That's what I believe. Praying for Jason's family. God is going to bring the ones responsible to justice one day. That you can believe. Hopefully they will pay here as well.
