I love that you did this comparison as I am going through a similar makeup evolution. Bare Minerals has been the only foundation I've used for years, partly because it is so easy to apply but mostly because my skin is cool-toned and BM has shades that I can work with. But the problem with my skin looking too textured and the foundation wearing poorly over the day has been disappointing, and I've been experimenting with long-wearing creams. I would be curious to see you do a wear-test of BM, and maybe you would have some tips to improve the longevity! Thanks!

Both sides look very nice. I'm 57 yrs old and still love BM. I use well-rested everyday. Too scared to try the warmth as I am very cool-toned. It looks nice on you. I am trying to find some cream products to give me a more glowy, natural look, but I keep coming back to BM. I love BM for traveling, so easy to apply.

Bare Minerals side definitely looks more even-toned. The issue I have with Bare Mineral powder is it exacerbates the large-pore areas in the T-zone. Not sure if that is avoidable. But, looks good on u!

I'm 66 years old. Started using bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer along with the loose Original Mineral Veil. Also using Gen Nude Blonzer in Kiss of Rose or Kiss of Pink. I've had several nice compliments on my makeup. I started using last year. I did not wear makeup for 3 years during the pandemic. Since my tweny I only used Clinique makeup and skin products due to my sensitive and acne prone skin. At some point Clinique wasn't working and wondered if they changed their formulas. Switched to Merle Norman unscented cosmetics years ago having luck. Last year started using bareMinerals and I've been satisfied with the products I use.

They both look great. Next time use your cream products first, ie concealer, blush, bronzer. Then buff a little of the bare minerals over that. That’s how I’ve been using it. Sort of like a finishing powder to blend everything.

I saw a tip the other day advising to try a Cover Girl last all day primer with BM instead of their actual primer and it will last longer. Whether this works, I can't say because I haven't tried it! Last I went to Ulta for BM, they were out of my shade. I've been using Clinique pressed matte powder foundation which is light/medium coverage and I actually really like it. I'm 41 and an oily girly too but at the same time my skin's in the best condition it's ever been. I think it's probably because I take better, more consistent care of it now than when I was younger ❤

I definitely like the BM side better, however I think you should lighten up the amount of products. Way to much bronzer and blush for your face. It looks to fake, not natural. Lips were right on ,eyes could be a bit darker. You are a very beautiful woman therefore don't need product on every cm of your skin. If the under eye bothers you take a puff and pat not rub and again lighten up on the products. Don't care for the other side at all, look is to oily. I'm not a pro but modeled in my younger years, which now 68 and can see you have a gorgeous blank canvas to work on! Just MY opinion.

I only use BareMinerals powders and Laura Gellar baked powders. I'm 31 but have very sensitive skin and creams and liquids break me out in hives and cystic acne. I've never had any issues with BareMinerals!

I think the brush used to apply the BM was for their liquid foundation as t had what they called a skirt. I feel it is too dense and delivers too much whereas a kabuki brush gives coverage but is lighter.

I used to use Bare Minerals,also. But now that I'm 68, I prefer cremes. Rare Beauty's Blush & Highlighter. I love watching Bethany's TikTok's. I just started using Nikol Johnson products. I just got her BBcreme and I use it instead of f I I foundation. I love her shadow trios..have hooded eyes (I worse than the other) but, much trickier than when I was younger. Gravity really sucks!! I used the Bare Minerals Foundation. But, no more.
