Gen was saved trying to pick up the pebbles, but the author Nakazawa was saved by being stopped by his friend's mother in front of the school gate. Nakazawa was blown away by the blast, but another miracle happened and he wasn't crushed when the fence hit a tree and stopped. There are foreign viewers who consider the tragedy depicted in this anime to be fiction, but this is a work drawn from actual experience.

Well, I condemn this atrocity over destruction No nuke should have ever been truly used However, it's not surprising imperial Japan was also a major problem with the rape of Nan King So many atrocities government committed over a hundreds of thousands. A Holocaust in the east. Nuke that destroyed thousands will not bring back those millions Ironically, the firebombing was more effective at hurting civilians. This was mostly test. America was doing as a show against Russia. The fact that they use both Is insane World war 2 is messed up. There is no hero but there are many villains. And victims.

God bless us all. Wait till it happens to their homeland, then they'll witness true agony.
Barefoot Gen is based on the childhood experiences of author Keiji Nakazawa. He never forgot this experience for the rest of his life. It's not someone's fault. War is bad. Barefoot Gen comic books used to be in elementary school libraries. The book is no longer in the elementary school library.

It is still placed in elementary schools in Japan. I feel sad that foreign elementary schools don't have it.
This Scarred me for life because of the horrid scenes... I feel Terrible about what the people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki went through now... i might have nightmares about this now... i know its 77 years too late for this but... i pay my respects in kind for the fallen in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. and i pray for the 127,000 people that survived the bombing... Bless them all and Good luck to the future of Japan.
This is honestly the most heartbreaking anime movie I’ve ever seen..💔

If you come to Japan, it might be a good idea to go to the Atomic Bomb Museum, the only country in the world where the atomic bomb was dropped. I think it really makes me think that there is such a war weapon. It ended more than 70 years ago, but I'm annoyed when some Americans say that the war is over because of the bombing. I don't think the war will disappear, but I want you to stop the war that uses such indiscriminate murder weapons.

I haven't experienced war. When I watched this anime, I couldn't imagine that the entire city would be reduced to rubble. The same goes for large-scale fires. But after watching the videos of the Kobe and Fukushima earthquakes, it started to feel real. But I have yet to see a large number of burnt bodies, and I have never experienced a situation where I had to abandon my family. I have never experienced a situation where I couldn't get food. I probably don't understand anything.

The librarian at my school told me a few years ago that her mom and uncle survived this bombing. The mom was in the countryside and saw the mushroom cloud from the explosion but she lost her friend in the city, and the uncle had to walk through all the rubble just to get back to his house. I was shocked. You never think it could happen to someone you know or anyone who knows someone you know.

Do you know why the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki?It was originally planned to drop the bomb on Kokura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, at 8:15, the same time as Hiroshima, but it was cloudy in Kokura at the time, and the results of the atomic bomb test were unclear, so it was changed to Nagasaki. Therefore, the time of the bombing was delayed to 11:02.I don't know the details. I'm glad you watched it. Thank you 😄

同じことをしようとしているロシアに、ガタガタいっている米国。 …否、おたくらにそんな権利ないって。
@АннаВолодина-к4н Жыл бұрын
You are wrong. Russia is not such a terrifying country as USA wants to present in its news. You see only one side of the coin. Russians have never used nuclear weapons against others. The Russians need these weapons only for protection and deterrence. The Americans are the only ones in history who have used nuclear weapons against the civilian population of Japan. This was done not only to conquer Japan, but also to demonstrate its strength to the Soviet Union. Their main historical opponent. It was after this catastrophe that the Soviet Union actively engaged in the development of the same weapon. And now the American government hypocritically accuses Russia of what it has done in many countries of the world.

Do you know why the United States dropped the atomic bomb around 8:15 am? That's because many people chose to go out for children to go to school and adults to go to work. It was the perfect time for America to experiment with humans. Before that, the Japanese already knew the theory of atomic bombs. It is Hideki Yukawa, a scientist who won the Nobel Physics Award after the war. He realized the horror and thought it was a bomb that shouldn't be made and didn't execute it. However, the United States chose Japan, a country of colored races, including women and children, as the laboratory table without writing in the middle.

No, that's not it at all. And people like you need to stop trying to spread hatred to suit your ideology. America did it to end the war. They wanted an unconditional surrender. Japan offered a conditional surrender, but ultimately they would have still been an empire intent on taking China. Japan was straight up arming civilians to fight. The bomb was horrible, I won't refute that. But far, FAR more would be dead had it not happened.
@Freesoler01 Жыл бұрын
@@MultiRingtail All countries drop bombs in war. The point here is the atomic bomb was a prototype for a nuclear weapon. This is nothing like any man made weapon before or since. Hours after the explosion dissipates, you get a an oily black rain, called fall out. Nuclear fallout, in addition to being radioactive, contains heavy metals, making it extremely toxic. Children born in Hiroshima a decade after the war ended still had birth defects and disabilities, such as severe intellectual disability that traced back to the Atomic Bomb. Many of the bomb's survivors never again knew anything close to a normal life. Later in his life, even Keiji Nakazawa, who created Gen expeirinced delayed complications, such as loss of vision, and cancer, both with connections to being exposed to the A-bomb as a boy. Just a few facts for you! This is not a normal weapon of war. There is a reason why nuclear weapons have not been used in war for over 75 years.
