I remember when I was going to manual arts high school and a big truck came up with a bunch of brim's on the back of the truck with bats,chains, hammers, big azz sticks. They were coming to fight the crips. It was about 30 brims on the back of the truck. I don't know what happened cause I got the hell up out of there. This was back in 73 or 74.

I remember they came to Crenshaw around late 73 or early 74 with bats hammers and chains. I know because I was attacked and went through an assembly line of punches which was not too painful, but the final blow I was hit with a metal object which open a hole in my head and the ambulance was called and was rushed to the nearest Dr.s clinic for stitches. The 2 guys I was with ran and escaped. I remember the girls looking upon me with horror as blood ran down my face. I had on gang attire, Ace Duce, earring in left ear. I knew and ran with the OGs Cutes, Farmer and others, but wasn't hard core. Spent time in juve. But the Crenshaw experience slowed me down enough to make graduating from high school a priority. But still was violent robbed people. Broke in places. But after turning 18 attacked a man and was caught and sent to the big jail awaiting trial. Prayed to God on the 4th day and was released for no reason with no charge. I then graduated with my class then joined the Navy in 74. God is good.
