I relate to this song so much. I grew up in an independent fundamental Baptist church (basically a cult) and this was the mentality of the women. I broke the mold when I started working outside the home and put my kids in daycare. I was actually told I belonged at home raising my children and was asked frequently when I was having another child. After many years of this abuse, I left and never looked back. There are so many women still there that are totally trapped and brainwashed into thinking their whole purpose in life is to have as many babies as possible before menopause. I translated your song to my grandma and she loves it. She was held in a abusive marriage with a pregnancy, and as much as she loves my mother, it resolved in a very rocky relationship between them when my mothe was a child / teenager. My Grandma is fighting for womens rights and abortion rights since she got her and her children out of said marriage and it is sad, that the fight is still ongoing fifty years later. (We don't live in the US but the debates are about the same). I shared this story to interact with your music video so more people get to see it.

Better learn 4 languages to be able to ask for water in the nursing home if there's not a cull of suicide parlors like in Canada? At this point popping out babies like a pez dispenser would take decades to reverse THE PILL and abortion demographic changes, drowning out aboriginal Americans and the non-immigrants' families born here for hundreds of years. These changes got turbo charged since 1990 with 4 times the legal immigration +plus+ illegals. Combine the downturns of teen pregnancy, nuclear family size and numbers of children for each women well below 'replacement' levels of about 2.5 children, Z'e'meriKa is no longer recognizable in many places. 2050 seems to be a target year for cementing the concept that those born elsewhere and their children will out number the domestic population in the 'democrassy ' that's a invasion and take over. Bye Bye Miss American Pie by the time it is realized may take 100 years to fix, if it can be. I suspect some American women may start asking to share a man willing to get them pregnant repeatedly when they 'do the math' with personal adverts like : GUYS GUYS GUYS !!! Carreer woman and friend, with maternity leave benefits seeking polygynie with unvaccinated fertile willing man of similar ethic background , must be from a family in America over 3 generations with American English as a primary language: must be willing to home school: you'll be a kept man if you want to be. My father's attitude exactly. He felt women should be barefoot and pregnant and that they didn't need a higher education. He wasn't religious. It was just the way his father and grandfather felt passed down to him. My mom was always pregnant, had several miscarriages, almost died from toxemia because the good Catholic doctors would not remove a dead fetus, and had seven children. Saddest woman I knew.

First of all let me state I’m a British bloke. Yes, our government made massive mistakes about womens rights to vote and we were VERY late to appreciate what women added to our country’s economic and social tapestry. Stumbled across this song. What bothers me is that these laws are senseless. These lawmakers don’t even realize that many couples take contraceptives not because they don’t want children but sometimes are waiting. Or, in the case of my sister who had major surgery before she was married, was told a pregnancy might kill her and the child. She waited until her body healed. That’s still pro-life, it’s just sensible. I don’t call these people passing these laws pro-life. They’re pro-birth. They don’t care if someone has a medical condition, made a mistake as a child, was raped, or just doesn’t want kids. They also don’t care if people get shot and killed. Because guns matter more in America than people do. It’s easier to over-sexualize a group and scream “first amendment” than it is ensure better healthcare for Americans, regardless of income, etc. I feel like we’re not simply going backward as a country; we’re entering the realm where people are trying to make the “idea” of a religious utopia a reality. And it’s scary.

This song is amazing! I had an abortion when I was 15, after I fell pregnant from being graped by a family member. When Roe was overturned, I told my boyfriend that I was getting my tubes tied, like IMMEDIATELY. Thankfully, he didn't argue, or try to stop me. He even went to the consultation appointment with me, just in case my OB/GYN needed to confirm that he was fine with my decision! I got lucky... my male OB/GYN is firmly in the camp of, if a woman wants a tubal ligation, that's all that matters. From consultation to surgery, it took about 7 weeks. Now I'm fighting for my friends, my nieces, and the millions of women who are affected by this every day! ✊️
