Henry v. Wagner was a short yet intensive doozy. Fearless high and low exchanges from Wagner, who was entering very effectively with head movement, hand movement, or shoulder fakes, before finally getting ground to a punishing almost-freaky looking stoppage from the patience and reach of Henry, who to his credit added the purest gold of sportsmanship to a super-slick BIG ol' W. Some scalpel-sharp guys in the lighter divisions. Surprised that we don't see more unorthodox but TOTALLY LEGAL punches/strikes for this particular format. Backfists, hammers, sticky body hooks, bolos, spleeners, corkscrews, foreknuckle rakes, cupped slaps, etc.

First fight set the tone, a brutal war with furious aggression and daring exchanges. Every last name on this card was a grueling warforged tower of heart, even though this kind of stuff used to be called a "weekend off" in the USA only as recently as the 1920s.

About 200-300 inclined knuckle pushups a day with 10min soaks in diesel thrice a week after quitting smoking and they, like roofers or ANYONE with a pair whose JOB itself at least tends to contribute to KEEP them hickory tough, have a good basic FOUNDATION. To be a puncher. Unfortunately? Devils Advocate? This may not be Modern Sport Queensbury but it still takes more than a strong right and a jaw that can take what the other guys wrist can. Movement, bodywork, placement and timing, these are still the fine points of all pugilism/fist-fencing that make this different than the Bar N' Alley Leagues.

Has anyone noticed how they either change out advertisements between fights or these fights aren't in the same place, which would negate the title of these videos?... The upright pads around the ring are changed out at some point during the event... I've never been to one, so maybe that's common knowledge and just done out of necessity to fit in more sponsorship funding?... These fights also don't seem to be in order that they were in during the event either... Why change out advertisement logos and pads multiple times at an event?... I'm guessing they do change outs at the half way point, then again after the prelims or something... I've just noticed the entire look of the ring area changes multiple times in each event...js

Shoaff v. The Iron Rasta: This was no walk around, Shoaff had to expose himself with the APPEARANCE of recklessness several times, somewhat unusually for his tricky, fluidic, and highly mobile dynamic defense. The 'Gilbert EYE-vel' stuff seems to have been mainly a desperation move on Iron Rasta's part at the point when Shoaff was finally building that finishing momentum. Tbh I thought he had a few very good chances to rock Shoaff on entry or on the inside, and was moving/adjusting quite well at the start. There was true grit and effort there.

So close to the end of the fight where Connor would have clearly won on points only for him to be robbed of a win on his island by two yanks. The ref and his opponent who probably can't belive he won in the most embarrassing way with a biased ref stopping the fight in his favour is a robbery and insult.

Am I ranting? Naw. I just love what BKFC provides for the void it fills, and thus to these hazy eyes, BKFC doesn't NEED gentrifying anymore than Post-Gracie Promo Era Early UFC did. Besides, this inherent element of mass-percieved eccentricity always allures new fans than it drives away, allowing a certain edgy freshness without the sport(?) itself as such necessarily racing consciously to the bottom, as in the case of the clown-run circus of the WWE, or scarcely better, pro-boxing in the USA, and increasingly, even the UK. BKFC can regenerate the very beating heart of the agonal, virile-spirited, and pugilistic arts. Cestus matches on sand when? SpergTangent: Where's Sam Hyde? Where's Lee Treadwell or Big Country?
