When I was her age, my family went down to our family ranch near a fairly good size stream, what we call a small river. We were fishing and I was using two hooks. It just so happens that I was about the same age as her and caught two carp and both of them were over a foot long or better and both of them weighed too much for me to reel in. Needless to say, when my dad finally reeled them in, he was mad and cut one of my hooks off my line. We didn't catch another fish that day. 🤣🤣🤣
