The Corvette was pretty Rare! That was a FRC (Fixed Roof Coupe) which shared the Body Style of the Z06 and had the Z51 Suspension and they weighed 80 Lbs less than the Targa Top Models. They were only Produced for the '99-'00 Model Years.

It actually has an airbag hence why it’s has SRS on the steering wheel! Mercedes was one of the first auto manufacturers to use airbags.

Yup, the S class had them from 81 on, afaik all 560 SL from 1986 on had it. But that's a typical Randy - it very obviously says 'SRS' on the wheel but he doesn't get it. To be fair, given the age of the car - the R107 debuted in 1971 - it's probably a confirmation bias issue.

I had the exact same model.... Ran great. The cluster would stop working do to a bad connection. That model Volvo was none for the cluster shutting down.

Volvo gauge clusters from the 2000's always brake, its a common problem. Most of the time repairable. Besides that really reliable cars.

Drivers side airbag only on the Mercedes. They are also notorious for the odometer to stop working after awhile so I would'nt be surprised if the mileage is inaccurate.

Hi randy im a big fan but i found 2 cars for your son 1 is a honda accord 1991 wagon needs paint but in decent shape its at copart at Oklahoma city. And there is a 2009 toyota camry with 60k miles that camry is very clean and that one is at iaa Oklahoma city. But i think the honda is nicer it just brings alot of memories and they last 300k miles and more you should check it out and buy it if its good. And same with the camry its clean check them out they would be perfect for your channel and for your son🙂👍👍

Yep the 560SL was in fact the first Mercedes to have a driver airbag as standard equipment as far as I know, it was optional on all other SLs

Pickup a Camelback wide mouth backpack water container, put some ice cubes in it and you should be golden for hours at up to 120*. Used to do in AZ with frequent soaking of my hat to keep my dome from overheating.

A common problem with those Volvo instrument clusters - cold solder joint on the circuit board. Fix that and she's good as new.

Love the XC70... Those gauge clusters do go bad. If you'll search on some forums you'll find out. If you can get it for a low price, I think it's def a good deal. Those 2.4t aren't the best btw..

#YourCorvette You should try and plan a trip out to the Car Wizard with one of your hoopies. Even though he's not correct on everything. A lot of Volvo Wagons and SUV's, have that cargo net, as an option in the back, it is a good idea. 6:38, This Mercedes reminds me of an 80s, VW Golf, I saw on a Flatbed Wrecker last year. Just after, all of the salt was washed off the roads, you could tell the car was somebody's baby and it got T-Boned. 13:30, This could be fixed, you definitely need a donor car, the interior is rough probably from age, bu it doesn't look like the fire got to it. I wouldn't call this burnt to the ground.
