Obviously Beppi gave Alec too many nightmares so he just did another challenge instead of whetstone only. This video is a nice change of pace compared to that one with this being the entire game and honestly, this is the first time I've seen most of it. I'm interested to see where more cuphead content will take you considering the success of whetstone only, especially also when part 2 of that is done. Some attacks get interrupted by pausing and are affected by it differently. If I remember correctly, the tornado losses its hitbox in that state while others keep their hitboxes

Actually you can reach the dlc island before even beating a boss, by going beside goopy's fight entrance and going under the bridge, you can cross without having to beat forest follies. beat the mausoleum and bam, the dlc is unlocked

But... But you have to press up or down to do the P2 join/exit strat! I can forgive overworld movement because, obviously, but with that strat... Even if that only happens within the pause menu, it's still during a fight! ... Edit: I'm an idiot, mouse exists. I play on console so I'm not sure if you're able to, but I would assume you're just using the mouse to navigate the pause menu. Crisis averted.

That's an interesting point but the game actually doesn't unbind Up or Down in menus even though I unbound them during fights so I allowed it. I think that's because otherwise, you could accidentally soft lock your game by not being able to go back to the controls menu
