This album could definitely be the next Stunt for them, maybe even better.

I was probably thinking "Coattails of a Deadman", given its beat and slow vibe.

You know, as a Christian, I still find myself agreeing that this is awesome. This isn't some slanderous hate-song about his opposition that relies on a smearing those who believe. You can tell: it's just what he legitimately feels about his own views on life portrayed in an incredible song. I love it and I definitely plan to buy the CD because of it. I mean, what's life if we don't realize the views of others?

@b phillip You're right... Religious people are good for their food... xD I'm joking (kinda), but your focus on the food as opposed to things like the values the Church preaches just struck me as hilarious... Like you were ignoring the stuff they often try to push and being like "Well, at least religious people are very useful..." To be fair, in a way I guess you can expand the giving of food to be based on some of their values, so there is that... Being charitable is certainly good for society...

@b phillip there are plenty of secular sources of charity.

I get some slight Primus feeling in there, too. I can't find the track, but I have "The Antipop", so it's probably on there.

Can't be whimsical all the time... :) Same with "I Have Learned" off of their last one - very "ROCK". It's true that there are a few others on this album that deal with lighter subjects. Try them out.

Ending Lyrics please... You cant keep nothing if you havent got trust....
@MarsJenkar2 жыл бұрын
You can't build nothin' if you haven't got trust You're standin' on steel, and slowly watchin' it rust There's no use fightin', no one's gettin' along You can't just add sugar if the coffee's too strong You dig a foundation, put it deep in the ground Then water and wind'll come and blow it all down Tie it all together, so that you make it float Then drop a piece of dynamite into the boat They say we'd have wings if God had meant us to fly He never gave us gills, are we supposed to stay dry? If He had a hand in the original code He hasn't paid attention since He made it explode

@mrknowie6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, would like to hear a mix where the lyrics are clear there. One of BNL's greatest strengths is amazing lyrics; don't drown them out!
@MarsJenkar7 ай бұрын
That mix still doesn't exist, but in lieu of that, I do at least have the lyrics for the final section: You can't build nothin' if you haven't got trust You're standin' on steel and slowly watchin' it rust There's no use fightin'; no one's gettin' along You can't just add sugar if the coffee's too strong You dig a foundation, put it deep in the ground Then water and wind'll come and blow it all down Tie it all together so that you make it float Then drop a piece of dynamite into the boat They say we'd have wings if God had meant us to fly He never gave us gills; are we supposed to stay dry? If He had a hand in the original code He hasn't paid attention since he made it explode
