How great it is to see two seasoned performers kicking arse on stage together, playing masterfully and with such passion and nuance. So often classical performances are by younger musicians. Martha recalls that Daniel seemed to be able to play just about anything on the piano which apparently made her uncomfortable ! @@margaretminiere7318 that's not what a 'meeting' really means for a lot of people. They did not meet as musicians. As musicians we meet and spend a few weeks jamming out. Why does the 1st movement takes 8 minutes while other pianists completed it in 6 minutes? 8 minutes is not consistent with their smooth and fast tempo of performance.

There's a coda in this work. The most simple explanation is that those other pianists you heard skipped the coda.

They are just having fun ! Two of the greatest pianists in the world and the great Mozart, who would have laughed and clapped.
