To solve the back down issue…make the initial amount you use longer so that you have greater control. Once it’s in just pull on the other side to get rid of the extra. Remember…there’s metal within and you need to accommodate for its natural movements.

I prefer asymmetrical, it's the unexpected that always catches my eye. Such a fun design! It would be special if you could share the piece(s) your daughter creates. So 2 introverts have a SuperDuper Extrovert Daughter?!? I actually laughed out loud. It's a different approach to situations. She sounds delightful!

Thank you. I was outside of my comfort zone too but am very happy with the outcome. I don't have gold findings because I prefer other metals and never buy reds, orange and yellow. So this box was a challenge. However, designing this piece alongside you and see it evolve was such a joy and I do like it a lot. I purchased some gold color findings from the sister store to build out my stash because I just had to find a way to work with gold in a way, I'd like it. Great tutorial.
