Now you’ve got me thinking, like yourselves I’ve a Shoei lid and we’ve a fly hire Spanish trip booked for Oct 21. I may invest in a cheaper lid for the flight side of things my first lid was a HJC which I liked it may mean investing in another comms kit so will have to look at that.

Our thought was, if it got lost or damaged in transit it wasn't out main expensive lid. What comms kit have you got? Depending on what it is you may just need to buy a new base plate. Thanks for watching :)

I note that you state using the Drift cameras on these helmets. I have one of these helmets and have just purchased a Drift camera. Can I ask where you stuck the mount for the camera as I can’t seem to find a suitable position?

Hi John, thanks for the comment. We certainly would never review a "cheap bucket", but we chose this one because the safety scores are the same as those of more expensive helmets (Sharp puts it up there with some Shoeis, Arais and Schuberths). We certainly appreciate some cheaper helmets are shit, and as you say, you would never entrust them to protect your family. Ride safe :)
