Kev you have such a beautiful clear calming speaking voice. You really should consider recording audio books for a bit of extra cash. I could listen to you all day. You also have an excellent microphone.. The sound on your videos when you are speaking is always perfect. Have a lovely weekend.

Thanks! Not sure I could read an audio book, I'd probably keep tripping over words of I was trying to read them.

Generally speaking these sleep mats are a complete rip-off, considering I can buy a Vesgantti-nova-lux hybrid double mattress(11inch pocket sprung, with anti-roll and air-cool technology) for my bed at home for £165.00, limited deal and a 10 yr money back guarantee.............no you cant take it camping im just saying ALL these camping mats are a complete rip off for what you get......and it will get punctured after no more than 10 uses............not your fault Kev but retailing at £200 is unbelievable and even £99 is a complete joke......anyway you made a decent review of it mate.
@TheWalkingKev5 ай бұрын
@@stubloggs6358 when you put it like that I can see your point. Ultralight gear is expensive. I wonder how expensive these mats are to make, how hard it is to get all the internal stuff happening to give it the R rating etc. I'm hoping not to get a puncture. Haven't punctured any of my mats so far, but realise that is a way to jinx myself!
@stubloggs63585 ай бұрын
@@TheWalkingKev Hope you dont get a puncture Kev........Many thanks for replying I thought you might delete the comment...shows me you are an honest man.............as far as how much it costs to make, if they can make a decent profit at £99 makes you think how much profit they'll make at £200.....used to work with insulation engineers(industrial)... and basically it a bit of plaggy and some fluff as insulation.......its not NASA lol.....cheers Kev, really appreciate your reply mate..👍👍

@@stubloggs6358 I've always tried to avoid paying too much for gear in the past, but the one thing I've struggled to get cheap is a warm enough sleep mat. So although it was £99 I know it'll do me well in colder weathers.

£100 for a sleeping mat ? this is insanity and not any form of camping I am aware of in over 40 years of camping all over UK and US . If this product is the answer, then you are asking the wrong question.

@@stewartlancaster6155 it's very light, very compact and very warm. Plenty of expensive lightweight gear out there, all depends what each person wants from their gear.
