Just a tip from one uranium glass collector to another, the glass that glows green, but isn't green in color, is more than likely manganese glass. It will also glow green, depending on what type of blacklight you are using. Uranium glass is only the glass that is green, or yellow looking without the light on it.

Another channel I watch highlights what something cost as compared to what it sold for. A math teacher uses the channel to teach percentages. They include what the shipping cost is in their calculations. Then the students talk about profit margins, taxes, overhead, etc. In the mean time the students are learning about styles in time, what changed in those time periods. They learn what items have maintained their value and why. I just thought what a fabulous way to teach math.

Love the uranium glass. I went to a sale that a lady showed me her personal collection, of course not for sale all in a large display case glowing. She had cobalt blue, red, green and yellow pieces. I was so jealous haha. Absolutely beautiful collection.

Omg I have that milk glass with the grapes on it, was my mom's. It should of had a base it is a butter dish. I even have the sugar and creamer which I usually use the creamer for salad dressing. Great score on the uranium glass, love the square plate!

I just recently started watching your channel and I really really enjoy it! I’m a reseller in South Dakota and I have to say I’m a bit jealous that the two of you seem to enjoy shopping together😉😃! There’s been several videos that I’ve watched where the estate sale or private pick has been VERY tight with stuff and people and I just think it would be sooo much easier without that HUGE BAG😉😉😉? Karen, the water supply hose brought me to a question. I want to change to a higher toilet. I am sure I can do it tho my knees don't work as well . Is it difficult to do? Ya think I can do it? I have watched tutorials but a lily nervous. Any suggestions?

It’s not difficult to do, but toilets are quite heavy. I worry that your bad knees might be a problem. Other then that, I’m sure you can do it! 😁 It’s totally normal to be nervous about something you’ve never done before. I know how much harder it gets, as we get older, to take, and keep, weight off! Karen, you may need shoulder surgery, after carrying around your black bag of "everything"! You might want to find a leather backpack, to balance out the weight. Thanks for always being so respectful about, especially the elderly's, property.
