Word of advice for people wanting to replicate these kinds of crafts: dollartree hula hoops are a seasonal item so spring/summer is when you wanna look for them. Also they have wooden signs she used for the base can be found for almost every season and in different shapes, but by their nature of being seasonal decor, the shape you want may sell out quickly because of the desirable designs found on them.

Do it on a Dime did this. She removed the foil from the hoop before painting. She also didn’t use a wood plaque, just cut the hoop and stuck both ends in the floral foam and glued.

Take the plastic wrap off the Hola hoop first. They also make green zipties.

There was no plastic wrap on that particular hula hoop. Dollar Tree doesn’t carry green zip ties but I definitely need to look at other stores for those! Be great to have!

I would want to hang mine on the wall , ha ha! Yeah, soooo, I guess u would use a foam board and glue it on the back or use some wooden Jenga blocks on the back of the hula hoop to give some space between the wall. Like a 3d effect? Then I would put some sconces on either side with battery operated candles with a timer. 2nd) I would use the foam on top and bottom using the flowers to cover them up hang on the wall then I have some white plates that you can run ribbon through the edges of the plates with the design of the plates. I love the romance of this. Bethany, the flowers are beautiful. I love light pink Peonies and white ones. I also love Lamb's Ear... I think 2 hula hoops, 1 on each side of the Bedroom Ceiling spray painted in the color of your choice and wrap them in fairy lights with timers. Then add the flowers of your choice. I would also love to make a shelf for my bathroom. Spray painted black add towels & Wash Cloths. Then on the last shelf add the decor of your choice! Ok. Bethany what do you think of my ideas? My luck, My ideas have all have been DIYED Already.... I still would make these even if they have. I need a circuit Joy! All of the Circuits are Expensive. I really want a Glow Forge Machine. Oh! I can wish and dream! 😢❤. ❤ LOVE THIS DIY BETHANY. YOU ARE SO AWESOME!!. MY Dream is to have tools for crafting. Everything is so Expensive!!!
