I know this one is 4 years old, but I was actually looking into an over-the-door hanging organizer that is essentially the exact same thing as the little basket shelf you made. I think instead of using the $50 on one of those, I'll be making a few of these instead. Thanks, Bethany!

Wow, 5 PLUS young people, (I stopped reading but probably tons more) teens and PRE-teens! speaking of budget. I'm impressed. When I was young, I only slept in my room. Ah, I guess I did punishment in there too but point, never thought of decorating or organization. I think my friends and I were probably outside. LoL (making forts or something) BTW, the laundry basket "bins" - "shelves" ?? were an awesome idea!!! I have a terrible hoard in my basement. These will help! My Mom and Gram passed away and I kept EVERYTHING. (My mother had so many craft items, I didn't know! I never saw her craft except knitting and crochet a little, making Barbie clothes! I'm delighted and stunned with her stash!) These will be terrific until I can get built-in shelves and when I'm done I can use in another spot!

Bethany thanks for sharing such easy, inexpensive yet practical, attractive ideas. I adore that fluffy seat that wasn't part of this DIY. What also caught my eye is the lamp on the table. It's sooo glam. I'm hoping that you have a DIY for that as well. I have pictures of one done similarly that is a floor lamp but I was a dummy and didn't screenshot who did it so I can make it. It would be so nice to have both in a room and up the glam quotient. I'm off to binge search your DIY's have a great day.

I feel like a cute alternative to the doilie waste basket, if you glue colored tissue paper on the inside of the basket while gluing the white doilies on the outside of the basket (gluing them at the same time so they adhere to each other). I bet it would come out awesome! Btw great video, love your ideas!!
