They need to install some shakers on the bed, like those motors with an eccentric weight. No shovels needed to push material in.

They are from under the rocks, above the conveyor. It prevents too much weight on the conveyor at any time , which would stop it from being able to start moving. I guess it also protects the conveyor when loading?

i guess to protect the conveyor in the loading of material...the weight of the whole cargo bearing down on the belt can snap it when it starts....thats just my guess..ive worked; n bulk cement handling and we use the same concept to unload tho we use air slides and not belt conveyors.
