Another great post, such dedication with the weather to make the video! It is so easy to forget the scarifices so many mainly ordinary people made. Also, let's not forget the miners who kept the country running during both world wars, with also a very dangerous occupation.

Yes, of course, the miners also made personal sacrifices, mining tragedies. My maternal grandfather Bill worked in Bargoed Colliery. I was indeed concerned about the weather as the rain sometimes effects the recording.
