So due to a clerical error that was not caught, Riverside King won this band review. Wow.

Both are fantastic performances, could you elaborate on "clerical error"? I'm curious.

Alvin Shuh so apparently there was a scoring error. Tom Cole has a certain amount of time to look over the score sheet and catch any mistakes so he can dispute/correct anything; he missed his opportunity and by then it was too late. It was a HUGE deal in its time and everyone was discussing it at world of pageantry.

Alvin Shuh I don’t know if that thread was locked down or shut down. At the time, John Hauseey, ex-director of Magnolia H.S. did everything he could to have the discussion terminated. That was way over ten years ago.
