Simply using the description from Kabbalah a Golem can not be created, but using the concepts and understanding behind them the answer is yes. That is because what is seen as Magic is little more than science that we do not yet know or understand. As I mentioned made from earth that has not been used means using mining extraction and chemical along with other processing to make up the form not simply molding with our bare hands. The concept for such a creation is valid, however it is lacking in many important details that make such a creation possible. Look at what Boston robotics, Hanson robotics and others have done as these creations do follow the principles that are explained in such a creation. Keeping in mind that according to the many creation stories that us humans were created from Mud clay earth, Angels from light, and the Djinn from formless fire.

I like this myth, the lesson could be to whip off the name after mediation. So many people say how well they are feed after a sermon, that's the scroll in the mouth and the name on the forehead is also referenced often.

The Scroll and name are but simple terms that if used as listed word for word will not work to make the creation. Not so long ago computers of the day were programmed and put into operation using a paper tape ie Scroll, and wired buttons pushed to make it function, or function terminated. Aleph is always the first letter used for making the desired happen, and is much like an on/off button. The story as put forth from Divinity, is a warning about what happens when something is created without all of the proper source of programming and information.

Technically when we build modern robotics we are doing what is said in the Kabbalah for the creation of a Golem. As what is created is changed by hand into form to make the being from earth, as all of our modern materials are of the earth. We use the words that bring it into being, and this is the software. However unlike a true human of natural birth it has the same basics as our life, yet it lacks the spark that can only come from the Most High that makes us human. We have not yet found a way to create this, nor have we any machines yet that can see this part of divinity that any with eyes to see can see. This special extra part that makes the creation a part of the divine as we are, as what we do give such a creature is from our imagination and not the imagination of the Most High. Looking at this facts it is obvious that what we create could easily destroy us because we can't give it free will as we were given when the Elohim created us in their image. It is true that it is a form of information exchange, but in our lack of understanding we would be creating a being that lacks what many call a Soul. Something that Science and Atheists say does not exist, yet those of us that have seen things tested that our current level of science can't yet explain are actually able to observe because we were created in the Image of the Divinity. I find it interesting that in this age these texts are relevant today, as they explain how when we create things without the understanding of what we are making it is nearly always when making weapons of war as such devices and creations are made by many with only a limited knowledge of what they are working on and not enough to fully understand the ethics of what can result by their creation. These concepts in the past did not make any sense to me when I was studying engineering even though there are classes on the ethics of engineering, it only goes into little more than the social aspects and does not touch on the aspects of divinity and where things such as our minds, conciousness, and our creativity originate from. That what brings us the spark of life, as a body in the near future could be created through engineering and chemical means with computers and advanced printing techniques we would not be able to impart that part that we see as human life. I know Mary Shelly did write about the creation of such a creature from many parts that were left over that had lost that spark, we would not as our learned Rabbi Shabtai Rappaport said as tapping a pipe but more along the line of us the original creation making up the part of divinity from our creativity and thoughts instead of it being of Divine origin. This is in here were the problem with such a creation exists that is outside of such for minor tasks, such a being to think on its own would be something that is very dangerous. That is because such a creation could easily see us as inferior and need to be eliminated as we are not perfect and if built with the ability to survive we would also be physically inferior and easily destroyed. This is why Isaac Asimov wrote rules for robotic creation that will most likely never be a part of any modern design, as implementation of such is beyond the scope of current robotic programming, as it would need to have a strong moral sense of what is life, and this is something that many naturally born people have a difficult problem defining to some kind of universal agreement.

Well written. I believe once that creation is near perfected they will use it as a human body for Satan since it has no Soul. Sounds hilarious but that's what I would do if I was waiting for a Golem. Lookup "Al-Masih ad-Dajjal" he's basically a mutant deformed Human coming out in the end of times claiming to be GOD with great magic and demons in his command. Plus he has "INFIDEL" instead of "TRUTH" written on his forehead.
