Missouri Mule Makeover Ep 5

I ended up bleeding from three different spots on my left legs from when he kicked me. We got the saddle on him today, and all in all I think he handled it pretty good. A mule like Jeffery only has two options in life and we are trying to choose the one that will be best in the long run. My intern and me had a conversation yesterday where I told her I don't think there will ever be a day Jeffery feels "ready to saddle or ready to ride", I just have to do it. If we keep pushing him to the next level every day his progress will follow.

Was he never handled or was he mishandled? He acts like one that has been thumped on I've seen wild horses started that act more trusting. If he's gonna make it , it will be with you. But I think your knees are gonna hurt where you got kicked. Push on Buffalo Rider !
