We did this exact same thing two years ago when we moved from the U.S. to Costa Rica with two large dogs and two cats ….. most all US based carriers stopped flying pets on international routes during and after the pandemic, so it was a private jet or driving 5,000 miles ….. so we flew on a CitationX that had every seat taken by pet owners and their pets. An amazing once in a lifetime experiences. ❤🐕 Best of luck ! There js a big market for this service.

This is really about relocation issues. He nailed it on the head. My German shepherd had to fly cargo from LAX to DC for over 5 hours. A year later she then flew from NYC to Toronto…also in cargo, but at least it was just for an hour. Also had to be mindful of temperature restrictions at departure city and destination, size and strength of the expensive FAA-approved crate, etc.
