I've been very much enjoying these videos of yours. Keep it up. I don't know of very many people with the big Bark Rivers willing to take them out and beat on them. Fantastic!

When I buy something, I usually intend on using it. These are beautiful looking knives, but they are also knives made tor heavy work. I'm happy you appreciate the videos, and I'll make sure there are more of them being made! (Y)

Awesome knife, you just put my fears to rest on buying a hidden tang barkie. Is that 1909 in A2? I want to get a teddy or teddy 2.

I love the bark river bowie becasus i love every big bowie knife i guess ;P It costs 400 Euros here so it will be just a dream to have one for myself unfortunately. My cold steel trailmaster makes me happy too but i will definitely save up money for a bark river.

I can highly recommend Bark River Knives; outstanding quality blades in my opinion. Living in Europe, however, means that buying BR-knives will be costly no matter how you go at it . I, personally, order all my knives from DLT (www.dlttrading.com), which is a very good alternative for international customers since the shipping rates are excellent and the service top notch! I hope you can get one in the not too distant future! (Y)

You work your barkies pretty hard, have u had trouble with any? I'm looking to get the canadian camp knife, how is the handle on it? ... THX
@PinkG106 жыл бұрын
I've put some of my BRK's through hell, but so far, they've all held up well. I've had to strop a couple to get them back to paper slicing sharp, but that's usually after a lot of abuse. I've had no chipping or any other type of blade damage, nor damage to handle etc. The Canadian Camp II in 3V is a great all around camp knife, but I wouldn't do any heavy chopping with it.

I like my CCII too, but it doesn't chop nearly as good as the 1909 MB. The 1909 is so much thicker, .250 compared to .187, with the blade length being 2" longer than the CCII. I also prefer the handle on the 1909, but I did modify my CCII handle a little to better fit my hand. All in all, two very different, but also very good, knives!

Hi, I just found your channel and like the content.....nice to see someone who uses the BR knives insted of just table tops! Being from Michigan and now living in Norway & Sweden, I really liked this one! Two questions ... first where in Sweden are you ? Second....Why all the Pink G10? Keep up the good work!

What axe is that?
@PinkG105 жыл бұрын
It's the Gränsfors Bruk Outdoor Axe. A very small, but handy axe.

Which do you think is the better all around(versatile) tool the JX5,parang or grasso III? If I remember the parang does not have a point right? Does this out chop the Jx5?
@PinkG106 жыл бұрын
In pure chopping performance, the Parang and Grasso Bolo III are about equal and they both out perform the JX5. The JX5, however, packs a REALLY good punch for its size, and it's so much lighter and versatile than the other two and therefor a better all around knife/chopper. The Parang does not have a pointy blade, and the 1909 MB does not out chop the JX5.

@@PinkG10 Do you think the 1909 has a confortable handle?
@PinkG105 жыл бұрын
I do. I've had no issues with it in any way, it feels and works great. The pommel is actually a pretty smart feature for chopping tasks.

What kind of handle is it? I'm assuming it's a full tang but not full width, but it can't be a type of rat-tail tang is it?
@arjungandhi12424 жыл бұрын
Its a full hidden tang. Not sure if that's the same as a rat tail but they're plenty sturdy
@CurrentlyOnLV-4264 жыл бұрын
Arjun Gandhi like as in batoning? I guess What I’m asking is, is it strong enough to withstand stress from torsion and repeated vibration, compared to full broad tang
