I was wondering the same thing. Maybe to stop people from drowning if they fall in the gap between the boat and the dock? But if that's the reason it still seems like overkill.

Its a docking system, lifts the entire boat, out of the water. completely dry...... runs on a pump. lowers the boat into the water and the back folds down to allow for the lower units

Good video... the mercury steering pump (the most important hyd pump on the boat)... is in the bilge. Waiting for the merc folks to sell a V8 350 or 400 Verado... with electronic steering. That would be good to slot into the current mix of engines.

I imagine it won’t be long. They could definitely tune the 300 V8 to 350 HP. I imagine the 400 will be a detuned 450R and they’ll likely release a Verado variant of the 450R as well. That’s just me spitballing on what I’m thinking will happen though 🤷🏻‍♂️

the paddle control the jackplate and engine trim, the left paddle is for moving the jackplate up and down while the right paddle is for moving the engine trim up and down.

That fish box is insane 😳 hell true offshore center consoles in the 25-30 foot range don’t have a fish box that big. Which is actually pretty disappointing now that I think about it…

Looks like a copy of a Yellowfin which you won’t ever say nor the owner company about went upside down my service manager has one took like two years to get and didn’t even know he would get it because the company was going under. Love how everyone loves to copy Wylie at Yellowfin
