@@shashankk4032 see people have ethics when they get in to tv journalism. There are no news channels that take no side towards one party. Let me also tell you even NDTV inclines towards congress and Samajwadi party but NDTV has some line which it never crosses like Arnab. Few jornalists are paying price for speaking truth while few are facing KARMA and Barkha is among second kind. There was a pandemic and shut down had to happen. There was simply no way the government could accommodate everybody's interests. @@premprasad3511 shutdown was necessary but not the way it was done at 8pm with sheer suddenness of it. It could have been better planned with few days time given for people .. a country like india with mostly daily wage earners cannot be shutdown with one announcement at 8pm.

@@premprasad3511 when no one knows how to respond to this, different plans are to be tried for different groups of stakeholders.and this gang's only stakeholders in the country are its moneybags. just like demo and the botched gst, they didnt learn. and in any case, despite good monsoons over the last few years and granarie overflowing and grains getting destroyed, they shouldve addressed the basics. if Usa gave people money, india couldve given food and used citi infra to house migrants when they needed help the most.if a family head just shuts things down in crisis, he will be kicked on his face for failing to be atleast first-aid ready on crisis . here it was antakshari, watch epics on tv, light lamps, beat plates, etc. all those lampposts shouldve been sent to their constituencies to handle the crises. instd, they burnt delhi. U bhakts wont get it.
@premprasad35114 жыл бұрын
@@mdtharique I agree but either way the government would have been subject to similar criticism. It wasn't the best decision, rather an optimal decision. In the early days of covid , fear was at its worse. Horrific images from china , Italy, USA, UK suggested covid as a mass killer. It was therefore reasonable enough for the government to think that the inconvenience caused by the shutdown could be made up by the mass deaths that might be triggered if the shut down was imposed slowly. However, I agree that the governments could have been far more sensitive to the needs of the hapless migrant. Given the huge resources that the center commands , they could have created temporary shelters for millions even while meeting all the requirements of social distancing . Also India is a good surplus country. There's no need for people to starve in India. Government could have been far more proactive in supporting people on during the lockdown. While the Government should certainly stand criticism, terming it's actions as communal, anti-people, anti-muslim, etc undermines not the government but rather the very people who make such exaggerated allegations to create public hysteria and anger. Unfortunately, our opposition leaders are brainless

This is very important, since in Cacophony of noise, someone is doing good work !

Ms Barkha it was a very impressive fete you pulled off without much organisational support. The society which is full of wretchedness needs such committed journalists only.
