Regardless of how close Gary came, Laz can't make any exceptions cause it's not fair to the 15 others who completed the Marathon, and had even done it with hours to spare. As a runner myself, I know that even if Laz says I will bend the rule, Gary wouldn't accept it, because it is never about what Laz says, it's about achieving that internal goal....

I'm not sure goggins has the speed.Obviuosly he could do it but making the cutoffs might be hard.Those who have finished have to run fast in the sections where they can,like very fast.I don't think there is anyone on earth who just shows up and does it first time unless they have a veteran to follow.
