Love this map After all the forestry and production hub-bub this map has brought the game back to its roots… for me at least Like how you keep it simple and realistic with a good directive which makes for much better viewing I’m building up to cotton and potatoes with hay and silage as a filler Great work keep it going 👌🏻👌🏻

But I agree, I kinda missed the simple farming series without all the productions and forestry

@@dahlmasen3084 I agree. Forestry seems to be his bread and butter. Which is fine but it's not really the farming simulator I'm looking to watch. Sadly, it looks like this series is dead. Too bad, this was my favorite one. But most players are European and they will always watch their maps more. And the opposite is true for me.

Could one put any combine header on the swather? Like a 60ft Honey Bee? Or is it just that one?

Why go through the field twice, first mow it into a roll, then pick up this roll with a combine harvester? That's twice as long. Or is there an advantage in this?

in the game it's a yield bonus. In real life it's a way (the original way) to bring the crops in without having to spray to kill that plants. Not a issue in the United States were weather is much more reliable and the crops ripen just fine on their own. But in Canada with shorter seasons and less predictable weather, swathing was a big thing. Newer varieties it is less and less common and that the high clearance sprayer more and more common among farmers. Most farmers elect to just spray the fields before combining. It is similar price per acre to spray as it is to swath is first. But with spraying, it is faster and you have more bigger drying window later when you want to harvest it. Swathing is less and less common, but it is still happening all over. Crops don't ripen on their own here in Canada unless we have an exception fall season, which usually doesn't happen.
